Effect of bovine IFN-γ on the growth of C. pecorum IPA, C. pecorum E58, and C. trachomatis D. BK cell monolayers pretreated with bovine IFN-γ (1,000 U/ml) were infected with the three strains at an MOI of 0.5. The cultures were harvested at 36 hpi, and the viable yield was determined by measuring inclusion-forming units that formed infections in a new monolayer of BK cells. ≠, no IFU were detected.
