Correction to: Recent Progress on Genetic Diagnosis and Therapy for β-Thalassemia in China and Around the World, by Zhang J, Yan J, and Zeng F. Hum Gene Ther 2018;29(2):197–203. DOI: 10.1089/hum.2017.228

In the February 2018 issue of Human Gene Therapy (vol. 29, no. 2, pp. 197–203), in the article entitled ‘‘Recent Progress on Genetic Diagnosis and Therapy for β-Thalassemia in China and Around the World,’’ by Jingzhi Zhang et al., reference numbers 23 and 24 were accidentally inverted in the reference list, and therefore did not correctly correspond with their in-text citations.

The erroneous listing was:

23. Xiong F, Huang Q, Chen X, et al. A melting curve analysis-based PCR assay for one-step genotyping of β-thalassemia mutations a multicenter validation. J Mol Diagn 2011;13:427–435.

24. Huang Q, Wang X, Tang N, et al. Simultaneous genotyping of α-thalassemia deletional and nondeletional mutations by real-time PCR-based multicolor melting curve analysis. J Mol Diagn 2017;19:567–574.

The correct order of references 23 and 24 is as follows:

23. Huang Q, Wang X, Tang N, et al. Simultaneous genotyping of α-thalassemia deletional and nondeletional mutations by real-time PCR-based multicolor melting curve analysis. J Mol Diagn 2017;19:567–574.

24. Xiong F, Huang Q, Chen X, et al. A melting curve analysis-based PCR assay for one-step genotyping of β-thalassemia mutations a multicenter validation. J Mol Diagn 2011;13:427–435.

The online version of the article has been corrected to reflect these changes.

The authors wish to apologize for the error.
