Effect of RES on the migration of late EPCs treated with TNF-α. The migration ability of late EPCs was detected by a modified Boyden chamber assay. Migratory cells were counted in six randomly selected high-power microscope fields/well (magnification, ×100). Migration capacity of EPCs was inhibited by TNF-α (10 ng/ml), while it was restored by RES (20 µmol/l). EPCs treated with DMSO only served as the blank group. Data are presented as the mean + standard error of the mean, n=5. **P<0.01, as indicated.
