Catalpol increased the expression levels of A disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 10 (ADAM10) and its proteolytic products sAPPα and C83. Western blot results showed that catalpol treatments significantly increased the protein levels of ADAM10, sAPPα and C83, after SweAPP N2a cells treated with catalpol (200 and 400 μM) for 18 h.
