IL-6 levels in granulomas from healthy individuals infected with BCG. Assay of IL-6 was performed using an ELISA Ready-Set-Go kit from eBioscience. There was a two-fold reduction in levels of IL-6 when healthy individuals’ PBMCs were treated with LGSH after infection with BCG.
