Effect of cystamine and MDC on yeast-to-mycelium transition of C. albicans ATCC 26555 strain. Different strains of C. albicans were grown in YNB medium overnight, and serial 10−1 dilutions were used to inoculate YPD solid media containing 0, 25, 50, and 100 mm cystamine (A) or 0–3 mm MCD (B). Starting concentration of cells used was 3 × 106 cells/ml.
