Definition of AD and of asymptomatic at risk. A consensus on the definition of AD based on specific biomarkers was reached (Dubois et al. [34]), which works for any stage of the disease, even for the preclinical stage of the disease. Asymptomatic at risk for AD are identified when the biomarker pattern is insufficient to reach the above definition of AD.
