A CLEAR unit is used as an EEC meter at the mains input to measure all 3 circuits in the electric cabinet. Multiple MEDAL units are placed in office rooms and connected to different circuits. Each MEDAL can be used to measure up to six appliances simultaneously in a single phase. Only a subset of MEDAL units is depicted; see Table 5 for a full circuit mapping.
