Notes: Shown are correlations between tumor tissue and adjacent normal tissue in the same sample, per patient and per biomarker (both cohort 1 and cohort 2). All biomarkers were significantly upregulated in tumor tissue compared to adjacent normal epithelium. The T/N ratio was highest for CEA. The arrows indicate the number of tumor tissues that show an enhanced or decreased expression compared to adjacent normal epithelium; = refers to equal expression scores.
