Infusions of muscimol, at two doses, into RE impaired choice accuracy at each of the three delay times, measured by mean percent of correct trials, demonstrating that the inactivation of RE profoundly disrupts spatial working memory. By contrast, procaine injections in RE impaired choice accuracy only during the longest delay (120s). Error bars represent standard error of the mean.
