SIF (150 mg/kg BW) or ACR (3 mg/kg BW) were orally administered to the rats for 16 weeks. At week 12 (A) and 16 (B), animals were fasted and received maltose (2 g/kg BW), and an oral maltose tolerance test was carried out. The results are expressed as means ± SE of ten rats. *p<0.05, compared with control group.
