Fraxinellone inhibits B cell maturation. (A,B) CD19+ B cells were activated by lipopolysaccharide. After treatment with or without fraxinellone (40 μM), the relative expression levels of AID and Blimp-1 in CD19+ B cells were determined with RT-PCR. (C) The level of immunoglobulin G in the culture supernatant was measured using ELISA in the presence of fraxinellone at doses of 0–40 μM. In all culture conditions, CD19+ B cells were stimulated by lipopolysaccharide. Data represent the mean of three independent experiments ± SEM.
