A. C57BL/6 mice were injected subcutaneously with 500μl matrigel containing PBS (-control), IL-11 (4μg) or bFGF (100ng; +control), n=5 mice per treatment group. After 10 days of inoculation, mice were sacrificed; matrigel plugs were removed and analyzed for vascular density. B.
