First, 50 μM photolyase was added to a monolayer of 29 bp dsDNA with T□T and irradiated with blue light (t = 0) anaerobically in the absence (black) or presence (blue) of a 30 G magnetic field applied perpendicularly up intersecting the plane of the electrode. At the time indicated by the dotted line the magnetic field was either applied (gray) or removed (light blue) to switch the magnetic field conditions in a given experiment.
