Our automated quality assessment procedure uses a despiking filter and four simple rules to determine if each data point is invalid or valid. The values in parentheses were used for this study but can be modified based on differences in EDA hardware, participant sample, experimental context, and the relative importance of keeping vs. removing both valid and invalid data.
