IL‐6 levels after the inflammatory response in lung from wt and UCP2‐KO mice. The lung inflammatory response induced by 5 mg of lipopolysaccharide·kg−1 body weight is expressed as the serum levels of IL‐6. The serum was collected 6 h following the LPS injection.
