Western blot analysis and ELISA were performed to investigate the mechanisms underlying the protective effects of TP against I/R in cardiac tissues. (A and B) Western blot analysis was used to measure the protein expression levels of Bcl2, Bax, LOX-1 and NF-κB. (C) ELISA analysis was used to determine the inhibitory effects of TP on the expression of inflammation-associated proteins, TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6.
