LIPUS pretreatment decreased the pathological changes in brain tissues of mice after MCAO. Mice were pretreatment LIPUS for 5 consecutive days (15 min daily) before MCAO procedure. The pathological changes in left cerebral hemisphere tissues were detected by the H&E staining after MCAO on 7 day. The cerebral cortex, hippocampus, and thalamus of each group were displayed in (A,D, and G), (B,E, and H) and (C,F, and I), respectively. There were six mice per group. The inserted figures in each figure presented the large scale of magnification.
