Treatment with a combination of TRAIL and BBR reduces cancer cell viability. (A) LNCaP (B) C42 (C) DU 145 and (D) Huh7 cells were treated with DMSO (as vehicle) or TRAIL (100ng/ml) or BBR (50 µM) alone or in combination for 12–16 hrs and subjected to MTT assay. The results were expressed as percentage of control considering the vehicle-treated values as 100%. Each treatment was performed in triplicate and each experiment was repeated at least two times. The data represent the mean ± S.D. of two independent experiments.
