Effect of novasoy and genistein on ERα and PR RNA expression in endometrial cancer cells. The ECC-1 (A and B) and RL-95-2 (C and D) cells were treated with genistein at the indicated doses for 24 hours. ERα and PR mRNA expression was determined by real-time RT-PCR. Genistein significantly inhibited ERα mRNA expression (A and C) and increased PR mRNA expression (B and D) in both cell lines after 24 hours treatment.
