Confirmation of competition between ampicillin and biotinylated CRP using the ampicillin aptamer (A) and the CRP aptamer (B). A corresponding graph of the test line intensities is shown below each picture. A constant amount of CRP-biotin (40.5 µg) was added to each test stripe with raising amounts of ampicillin (18.5, 185 and 370 µg) and the corresponding amount of binding buffer (Vol con) to verify volume depended effects. Intensity measurement of the test line was done using ImageJ.
