Correlation plots showing the influence of age on examined retinal microvasculature parameters in healthy control subjects (AC) and in those who experienced a myocardial infarction (MI) at a young age (<50 years, DF). The central retinal arterial equivalent (CRAE-6, A and D), central retinal venous equivalent (CRVE-6, B and E), and arteriovenous ratio (AVR, c and f) were examined. Age was not significantly correlated with any retinal microvasculature parameter examined (all p > 0.05). All data shown were collected from the right eye of study subjects.
