The categorization was performed on the 20 upregulated pathways and 72 downregulated pathways found when comparing PH(90%) to all other groups. (C) Downregulated categorized pathways: PH(90%) versus all groups (n = 72). The pie charts describe signaling pathway categories associated with the pathways found in IPA. The number in parentheses refers to the number of pathways clustered in the category. Several pathways are represented in more than one category. The IPA report (“Signaling Pathway Categories”) for each pathway was used for categorization. Some categories were accumulated as follows: Others: cancer, disease-specific pathway; Degradation, others: hormone degradation, amino acid degradation, xenobiotic metabolism, detoxification, degradation other categories; Biosynthesis, others: hormone biosynthesis, vitamin biosynthesis, biosynthesis other categories.
