Relative transcript and protein levels of BCA1p in different cauliflower tissues. A, Total RNA extracted from cauliflower roots, leaves, and inflorescences was probed with a 32P-labeled, 341-bp PCR fragment at high stringency. The PCR fragment corresponds to the first 113 amino acids of BCA1p. B, Immunoblot with low-density membranes from the same tissues probed with anti-BCA1p. Each lane received 20 μg of RNA (A) or 12.5 μg of protein (B).
