Cold induction and subcellular localization of AQUILO (AQ) in grapevine. (A) Expression pattern of VaAQ and VvAQ under cold stress in shoot apices and young leaves. MALATE DEHYDROGENASE (MDH, VIT_07s0005g03350) and ACTIN (VIT_04s0044g00580) genes were used as calibration qRT-PCR controls. Each reaction was performed in triplicate (technical replicates) with three independent biological replicates (n=3). The relative expression was calculated using the 2−ΔΔCt method. Error bars represent the SE. Different letters indicate significant differences at a given time point (P<0.05; one-way ANOVA). (B) Subcellular localization of VaAQ in Arabidopsis protoplasts.
