The relationship between the levels of autistic traits displayed and performances on the implicit task in the Mentalizing condition (a) and Either condition (b). Although there was a trend of poorer performances with high levels of autistic traits, linear regression analysis found that the level of autistic traits displayed was not a significant predictor of performance in the Mentalizing (F(1,32) = 3.11, p = .09, R2 = 0.09) or the Either condition (F(1,32) = 3.54, p = .07, R2 = 0.10).
