Figure 6

The antagonistic effect of PK11195 (PK) against the analgesic effect of koumine (KM). Koumine (7 mg/kg) was administered s.c. on postoperative day 9. PK11195 at 0.04, 0.2, or 1 μg was given intrathecally immediately after koumine administration. The mechanical withdrawal threshold was assessed 60 min after intrathecal injection. Data indicate the withdrawal threshold for the ipsilateral paw as mean ± SEM (n = 5–7 per group). ∗∗P < 0.01, compared with the sham group. ##P < 0.01, compared with the model group. +P < 0.05, compared with the KM group, using separate one-way ANOVA followed by Bonferroni or Dunnett's T3 test for each group.
