The inner part of the split choroidal sheet was obtained from the retinal pigment epithelium-denuded region in Case 3, and the specimen was placed on a cellulose acetate membrane. The parallel lines on the specimen are indentations of the large-sized choroidal vessel. The brown color of the specimen is due to choroidal melanocytes within the specimen rather than retinal pigment epithelium cells on top
