Impaired exercise capacity in Apobec2^−/− mice. Treadmill exercise was performed in 15-wk-old WT and Apobec2^−/− mice after 3 d of acclimation. Mice ran at speed with a 2-m increase per minute at 10% slope until they failed to climb the treadmill in 5 s despite negative reward (electric shock). Time (A), speed (B), and distance (C) were recorded. Work (D) and power (E) were calculated with the normalization of individual body weight.
