Renal support therapy using an in-line hemofilter with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). Blood from the ECMO circuit is shunted through an in-line hemofilter. The volume of fluid removed by the hemofilter, the ultrafiltrate, can be controlled using an intravenous pump.
