Collagen crimp angle θcrimp [°] at the bottom of crimp wave and crimp length L [µm] (see Fig. 3 for definitions), measured from the slow axis orientation images of unstained sections of SDFT (n = 6) and CDET (n = 6) samples. Data were normally distributed and showed as mean ± standard deviation. Age groups are combined as the differences were insignificant with respect to animal age.
