The analysis was adjusted for age, gender, race/ethnicity, family income, and sensitization to inhalant allergens. The figure shows that endotoxin was associated with a higher prevalence of current asthma in hot-humid regions. The association of endotoxin with asthma outcomes was different across climate regions for asthma diagnosis and current asthma.
