NbHsp90 is Required for Tm-2² Protein Stability. (A) Tm-2²-myc was transiently agroinfiltrated into leaves of NbHsp90 silenced plants and control plants, respectively, proteins were extracted and analyzed by SDS–PAGE, followed by western blot using anti-myc antibody (upper panels). Equal loading of protein samples was validated by Ponceau Red staining of Rubisco subunit (lower panels). (B) Real-time RT-PCR assays showed that silencing of NbHsp90 did not affect Tm-2² mRNA level (means ± SEM, n = 5). NbActin mRNA levels were used as the internal control.
