Hyperglycemia downregulates netrin-1 expression in corneal epithelium. Normal and diabetic mouse corneal epithelium was collected before (as unwound group) or 48 h after epithelial scrape (as wound group). Netrin-1 expression was examined by using immunofluorescence staining (A, 3 mice per group), RT-qPCR (B, 9 mice per group) and ELISA (C, 9 mice per group) with the age-matched normal mice as control. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01.
