Plants were grown in a temperature-controlled growth chamber with an average photon flux density of 200 μmol m⁻² s⁻¹ at the level of the measured (no. 2) leaf. Measured leaves from both control and CMV-infected plants did not exhibit any symptoms. Measurements were performed 2 weeks post-inoculation. Values followed by the same letter within a column are not statistically different at the 5% level.
