CDDO-Im increases nuclear accumulation of c-jun in wild-type, but not Nrf2-null, primary mouse splenocytes. Wild-type and Nrf2-null mouse splenocytes were left untreated (BKG) or were pretreated with vehicle (VEH, 0.01% DMSO) or CDDO-Im (0.1µM) for 30 min prior to activation with anti-CD3/anti-CD28. After 4 h nuclear protein was then isolated and expression of c-jun and the housekeeper histone H3 was probed by western analysis. (A) Representative western blot.
