BCCIPβ interacts with S7 in vitro and in vivo. (A and B) HEK293T cells were transfected with plasmids expressing Myc-S7, Flag-BCCIPβ, or Flag-BCCIPα for 48 h. Cell lysates were then immunoprecipitated with Flag or Myc antibodies, and the bound proteins were detected by western blotting. (C and D) The lysates of MCF7 cells were immunoprecipitated with nonimmune IgG or an antibody against BCCIP (C) or S7 (D), and the bound proteins were detected by western blotting. (E) GST-S7 was incubated with in vitro-translated Flag-BCCIPα or Flag-BCCIPβ at 4°C overnight. The potential protein complex was separated using GST beads and detected by western blotting with Flag antibody.
