Two weeks after injection via canalostomy, whole-mount immunofluorescence showed AAV infection in the sensory and non-sensory cells from the apical turn of the cochlea. Hair cells were labeled with MYO7A (red). (A–C) AAV2 infected most IHCs and some outer hair cells (OHCs). (D–F) AAV2/Anc80L65 infected most IHCs as well as most OHCs.
