Influence of knockdown of TRP75-interacting proteins on Ehrlichia infection. THP-1 cells were transfected with target or control siRNA and were then infected by E. chaffeensis. The percentages of change in the levels of ehrlichial infection compared to the results seen with control scrambled siRNA-transfected cells were determined by qPCR at 1 and 2 days postinfection. E. chaffeensis dsb gene copy numbers were normalized to host GAPDH gene copy numbers.
