Cardiac Function Is Enhanced by miR-25 TuD Transfer
(A) miR-25 TuD construct subcloned into self-complementary AAV plasmid under U6 promoter. (B) Representative echocardiograms of sham, two months post-TAC, HF mouse with AAV9 control transfer, and HF mouse with AAV9 miR-25 TuD transfer. (C) AAV9 miR-25 TuD transfer significantly improves cardiac fractional shortening. (D) Hemodynamic data show systolic values ESPVR and dP/dtMax significantly improved end-systolic elastance and myocardial contractility and global contractility. (E) Hemodynamic data show diastolic function EDPVR and Tau significantly decreased, indicating improved compliance and diastolic relaxation. All data are represented as means ± SD (*p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.005).
