values were referred to 1 × 105 cells as determined on the harvesting day, 48 h after seeding. The data presented above were obtained from three independent measurements. The P values were calculated with the Student’s t-test (cells overexpressing RANTES or/and IL-6 versus cells transfected with their respective empty vectors).
