Linear regression analyses highlight the relationship between sleep duration and geographic variables. There is a significant relationship between (a) sleep duration and distance from the equator as well as (b) sleep duration and temperature. There is no relationship between (c) sleep duration and longitude nor between (d) sleep duration and altitude. Each population is color coded to represent their respective continental unit.
