Models are adjusted for age, race/ethnicity, systolic blood pressure, antihypertensive and lipid-lowering medication use, low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, diabetes, history of CVD, eGFR, current smoking status, crack/cocaine use, and HCV. Models for HIV-infected also adjusted for CD4 count, CD4 nadir, HIV viral load, and ART use.
