DSF has been increasingly recognized to possess anti-cancer effects through various pathways (orange). Here, DSF was discovered to exert inhibitory effects on the enzymatic activity of ADAM10 (purple), which promotes MICA shedding, enhances sMICA production and decreases mMICA level, and suppresses anti-HCC activity of NK cells (red, immunotherapeutic targets). ADAM10 also promotes HCC cell proliferation and migration (blue, chemotherapeutic targets).
