The test was run with 15 µg/ml of extract prepared from non-treated cells (Control) and cells treated for 3 h, 12 h and 24 h with AV-153-Na as described in Materials and Methods. Results are expressed as cleavage rate for each lesion. U-G and U-A : uracil paired either with G or with A; A-8oxoG: A paired with 8oxoguanine; 8oxoG-C: 8-oxoguanine paired with C; EthA-T ethenoadenine paired with T; Tg-A : thymine glycol paired with A; Hx-T : hypoxanthine paired with T; THF-A : abasic sites analogue paired with A. ∗p < 0.05, ∗∗∗p < 0.001 versus Tg-A control.
