Data for each individual plant was measured from at least 10 leaf samples. The chlorophyll content was measured using the chlorophyll meter SPAD-502Plus (Konica Minolta Optics, Inc.). S.E. represents the standard error. The T-test statistical analysis was used to test the significance (*) of the differences at p < 0.05.
