Spinal cord (SC) tissue was used as a positive control for SNAP-25 expression. Mast cells did not express SNAP-25 and hence no effect of BoNT/A1 on SNAP-25 was observed. VAMP 1/2/3 were expressed in mast cells; however, they were not affected by pre-treatment with BoNT/B1; this was repeated three times.
