Differential expression analyses for toxins between the nine Type A and Type B C. scutulatus as well as the average Type A (AveA) and Type B (AveB) transcriptomes. The UpB and UpA count data were generated by identifying outlier transcripts in the pairwise comparisons of the Type A and Type B individuals (maximum of 20 comparisons). The last four columns are the data from DESeq and DESeq2 identifying differential expression between the two venom types. Toxins highlighted in dark red were found in all Type A individuals but never in Type B individuals. Toxins highlighted in light blue or light red were exclusively found in individuals of that venom type but were not found in all individuals. Toxins highlighted in green were found in all nine individuals. Toxins with NA for P only had one individual in one of the treatments with the toxin so it was not possible to calculate in DESeq2.
