Girls showed stronger functional connectivity during SRP Flanker trials (mean ± standard error of the mean; n = 40). Right medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) was more strongly functionally connected to right DLPFC, a region of the frontoparietal network (FPN), during SRP Flanker trials vs. Control Flanker trials in girls, compared to boys.
