SNX6 overexpression promotes Akt phosphorylation without affecting IGF1R distribution.
A, SNX6 overexpression promoted a significant increase in Akt phosphorylation in the absence of any other treatment. It also promoted a slight increase in IGF1-induced Akt phosphorylation, however, this increase was not significant. B, quantification of bands in A. One-way analysis of variance was performed followed by Bonferroni's Multiple Comparison Test. *, p < 0.05, n = 5. C, immunofluorescence was performed using an anti-HA antibody to visualize IGF1R distribution (red). SNX6 overexpression did not seem to have a noticeable effect on the distribution of IGF1R. This experiment was performed three times. Scale bar = 5 μm.
